Bridge load-bearing structure handling

Bridge load-bearing structure handling

This specialized centre of the company focused on the handling of load-bearing structures of bridges, especially on synchronous lifting, lowering and bridge structure pushing, and on general handling of very heavy loads using hydraulic cylinders and automated hydraulic systems.
In 2000, our company was the first in the Czech Republic to use the computer-controlled synchronous ENERPAC system, designed for even and controlled lifting and lowering of heavy loads.

The computer synchronizes all operations automatically on the basis of monitored data on the load lifting and weight distribution on individual hydraulic cylinders. Thanks to this system, considerable time savings can be achieved during the handling of load-bearing structures, while maintaining high accuracy in the load lifting tolerance (up to 1 mm). No unwanted additional stresses are transferred into the lifted structures and the whole handling process becomes much safer. A report is made from the lifting/lowering process, where data on the lifting of the structure and the pushing force of the hydraulic cylinders are stored at selected intervals.

For various projects, we are equipped with different types of hydraulic cylinders with a total capacity of 18 500 tons, high-pressure pumps, 2 ENERPAC systems for synchronous lifting/lowering and 2 ENERPAC hydraulic systems for bridge structures.

AREAS WHERE THE SYNCHRONOUS SYSTEM CAN BE EFFECTIVELY APPLIED:
  • lifting/lowering of bridges, including continuous bridges with several spans and bearings
  • lifting of buildings and halls
  • lifting and balancing of platforms, crane tracks
  • horizontal transport of heavy loads
  • lifting/lowering of heavy machinery
