Investor/Contracting Authority: The Czech Railway Administration, Construction Administration East

Project description:
The construction project consisted of the dismantling of the original structures, concreting of supports founded on deep piles with a diameter of 1.2 m up to 16 m in length and anchored over the original support 8 by permanent ground anchors 27 m long.

The bridge itself consists of two steel structures with a span of 97.5 m and a construction height of 15.64 m, in 1/2 of the span with solid-section lower beams reinforced with a non-rigid arch with mesh rods (net arch).

The weight of one structure is approximately 903 tons. There is one structure for each track. The total length of the bridge is 129.9 m. The structure is mounted on each side on two spherical roller bearings and one guide bearing (transversely fixed bearing). The bridge is equipped with a controlled bridge dilatation system. Structure No. 1 was extended along Track No. 1. Structure No. 2 was extended along Track No. 2 and then pushed transversely into the desired position.
