Project description:
The subject of the project was the inteconnection of the “U tenisu” area with the Laguna area and the adjacent recreational area via a footbridge. The previous footbridge was removed and the new footbridge became an important element of the bicycle paths. The footbridge is used by pedestrians, cyclists and skaters.
The footbridge a prestressed reinforced-concrete prefabricated structure with 3 spans and monolithic joints and crossbars. The footbridge is suspended on pylons, from which the tie rods are led to the anchor crossbars. The substructure of the pillars and abutments has a deep foundation supported by micropiles.
The walking width is 3.5 m. The connection of the footbridge to the pedestrian and bicycle paths has ramps with vertical curves. The footbridge is illuminated by new public lighting. The lighting fixtures of the footbridge are mounted on steel pylons.
